Yours is a Maltese surname, Isabel - what a coincidence. Do please let us know how your children coped with these changes in their lives. With a parent like you, I'm sure they'll do well.

Hi Isabel,

Thank you for stopping by and for the feedback. I'm glad that we could offer you some helpful information and I really enjoyed hearing more about your children and their experiences (or soon to be experiences) with school.

I just read your article about The first day of school and is sooo full of useful and truthful information. My five year old son will start Junior 1 next week in a totally new school. I get a bit worried sometimes in case he finds it difficult to adapt but i spoke to my son about this change before we booked the school, telling him that now he was getting big and he will have a new school, new friends etc. He seems ok with the situation. I always give a positive idea about school and learning. Maybe this will help him to find it a bit more easy to studying and homework in the future.

My youngest daughter will start her Kindergarten 1st year next week as well. She is so entusiastic, she is dreaming of the day.... I really hope that she will not get disappointed after her few days at school. Sometimes i really wish i could see into her brain so that i can see what is she imagining to find at school...

Anyways, keep it up for the good advices and i will pop up again on this web in the future for more advice.

Thanks
